Title:

Rising Queen

Series:

Court of the Sea Fae #3

Author:

C. N. Crawford

Genre:

Paranormal Romance

Blurb:

My mate lies in a rotting cage at the bottom of the sea, and I’ll do anything to get him back. Maybe he’s the devil himself, but he made the ultimate sacrifice for me.
When my plan backfires, I’m left with a lethal hex surging in my veins. Now, I only have a few days to live. And Salem? He’s wrestling with a dark curse of his own, one that he says makes him burn..
He keeps saying this ends with one of us dead, that our story is a tragedy. But I’m determined to rewrite the tale fate has penned for us. If I can’t, he warns I could die at his hands.

INTRO:

OMG what an ending!! I think if it was any other ending it would not have felt right for this series. It had all the feels, from laughing, facepalming, being angry at a certain idiot (who else but Lyr), to just crying big fat tears. This instalment was rife with twists and turns, revelations and despair. Loved it!

Pacing & Flow:

If I have to mention one point that I found a tad lacking, it would be the pacing. Beginning and end were superb, but around the middle, it slowed down a bit too much.

The book itself:

The book was well written with no (noticeable) errors and yes, there is sex described (if that is important to you).

Final Thoughts:

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and all in all another great series from one of my favourite authors. Can’t wait what will be next! 😀
