Immortal Vices and Virtues: Shadow Shifter Bonds #3

Author:

Heather Hildenbrand

Genre:

Paranormal Romance

My fated mate just tried to kill me… I’m happy to return the favor.
His name is Legion. A shadow dragon who has earned a brutal reputation for slaying entire armies single-handedly.
They call him the death dragon.
I soon find out, they’re not wrong.
When his attention shifts to me, I know I should be terrified.
Instead, I’m drawn like a moth to flame, and I’m about to get burned.
With only the briefest contact between us, he ignites a fire inside me—and curses me in the process.
Now, one touch from me is enough to kill a man.
And I have a very specific man in mind.
My mate will pay for what he’s done to me. If wanting him doesn’t kill me first.

4.5stars rating

This book was freaking awesome! 4.5 stars!
We revisit the awesome world we know and love, bouncing between the Crossroads and Tartarus. We catch up with old friends and meet a few new ones.
Character growth stole the show! Both Legion and Tori have been through hell (no, Tartarus is not hell), but they’re tough cookies. When they clash and things get shaken up, neither wants to back down, which just makes the surrender so much sweeter, to be honest.
There’s tons of fun, drama, excitement, and, let’s not forget, some seriously steamy scenes.
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, and I have to say that the different Immortal Vices and Virtues series are a must-read! They offer incredible world-building, different author styles, and amazing writing.
I’m already counting down for the next book (and Kendall’s story later this year!)
