I’d made a promise to live my life without fear.
When my parents passed, leaving my siblings and I completely alone in the world, I was broken—thrown down a path of reckless decisions. Seven years later, I was finally gaining solid ground. The bold attitude I’d held for most of my life had been shaken but not shattered.
Except when it came to matters of the heart.
As my mating heat approaches, I’m faced with the daunting task of finding a mate—of choosing one out of the four men that have stolen my heart. Can I even let someone grow close enough to form a mating bond? More so, what if I can’t choose between them? My heart tells me that all four of these men belong to me.
Can I be fearless enough to take hold of the happiness right within reach?
Before I start this review, I strongly recommend that you read Voiceless (book 1 in the collection) if you haven’t done so yet.
Fearless pretty much follows the same timeline, and there is a fair amount of crossover 🙂
With that out of the way… let’s begin!
Welcome back to Willowdale Village (a place we all want to live at, to be honest), a quaint village filled with supernaturals of any kind. There are witches, wolves, dragons, and many more… including bunnies.
And so we meet up with our lady of the hour, Lena Graves (yes, sister of Hunter, Luca, and Dylan from Voiceless), a teal-haired bunny shifter who struggles with a fear of abandonment.
In this installment, she struggles with her love life—or lack thereof. She is convinced the men she wants to be with want her to choose, as they aren’t all the same shifters. But is that really the case? Well, I sure as hell am not going to spoil that 😉 Have fun reading and finding out!
Fearless is a pretty short book, with only 170 pages, and since it leans so close to Voiceless, I would even call it a companion book or long novella.
The story is lighthearted and heartwarming, focusing on love, companionship, and overcoming personal fears. While I enjoyed revisiting the world of Willowdale Village, I found the overall tone a bit too sweet for my personal preference (so I’m giving it a 3.5*).
However, if you’re looking for a quick and enjoyable read with a whole lot of love, “Fearless” is definitely worth checking out.
