Welcome
Hellow and welcome to my reading room, aka my book blog (in case you were still wondering).
Here you will be able to find: what I’m currently reading, my latest reviews (and the link to my review archive), new books in my ever-growing TBR-list (I’m sure we all have that problem) and some info about yours truly.
But first things first. If you’ve found your way here, that usually means you’re either a family member or a friend curious about what the hell I’m up to now, or you’re a reader in need of some advice.
If you belong to the first category: haaaaai!! Wander around and let me know what you think!
If you belong to the second category, well… *gets all giddy and excited* that’s what I’m here for!
I write reviews hoping to help those on the lookout for their next good book or those still on the fence to make a decision, be it yay (buying) or nay (moving on to another book). So I hope you will find what you are looking for within these reviews!
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to send me an email. Love to hear from you!
Happy reading!
What to expect from my reviews
Some things I would like to address before we go any further (that actually sounds pretty severe, lol):
- The genre’s you’ll find reviews for are:
- Fantasy
- Urban Fantasy
- the occasional Sci-Fi
- Paranormal Romance
- Reverse Harem
- I write my reviews as spoiler-free as possible since I hate it when you just want to check something and BAM… now you know how the book ends, who dies etc… *sniff*.
- I take pride in writing honest reviews for all the books I read, and I make absolutely no distinction between books from my tbr-list or ARC’s (advanced readers copy) that I’ve received.
If I think a book is terrible, I will give you my candid opinion. I mean, that is pretty much the whole reason people are reading (and writing) reviews, isn’t it? 😉

Taste of Madness (Woven in Time 2)
by R.L. Caulder
My choice is made on how to move forward after saying goodbye to the four men that each own a piece of my heart, but the earth doesn’t agree.
My connection with the planet and the threads of fate I was created to wield are gone. Only deafening silence remains.
So I do the only thing I can: I forge my own path, alone and determined.
A human stronghold waits at the edge of that path, a city the kings swore would never be worthy of me. There, in the shadows of their war, I hunt for answers and find ugly truths buried under patriotic oaths, whispered orders that stink of evil, and a human who ruins my careful resolve just by existing.
Colonel Ryoden Kane arrests me as a possible enemy, yet guards me like a treasure and believes in me even with the earth’s back turned. We strike a fake engagement—a careful lie we wear like armor so I can walk beside him into the heart of human power—but with every step we take hand in hand, pretending feels a little less simple. Somewhere between duty and desire, I forget this love is a lie.
Together we hunt for a way to save this world, but what we uncover is far worse than I imagined. The deeper we go, the clearer it becomes: If I want to save this world, I’ll have to put my faith in those I love more than ever.
Time is ticking and a choice must be made, yet I don’t know if I’ll be able to live with it.

About Me
My name is Victoria, I’m… 42 (yes, I needed to check, sorry!!), and I live in Munsterbilzen with my two feline overlords, Isis and Osiris.
I work in IT, and apart from that, I’m an avid reader (who would have thought?!). Once in a while, I like to indulge myself and play some video games as well (as you can see, my lovely undead warlock is all zen in Dalaran).
My reading plan for 2026 is pretty simple: put a dent into Mount TBR 😁
So I will be reading a lot of books, sorted into my favorite series, and well, hopefully end up with a whole lot fewer books to read at the end 😁
A few books I’m excited to read are:
